Dark Side of the Moon Shenanigans
Last night a few friends and I took a ride out of town and scoped out the stars while listening to Dark Side of the Moon, it's amazing how it is such a great chilling out soundtrack that really has nice flow... it feels like one huge song.
anyone else got some DSOTM experiences they want to share?

I guess watching The Wizard of Oz with that in the background is an old deadhorse idea. But it's something I've done, and it works.

My first exposure to Floyd was when Momentary Lapse of Reason came out in '87 (yeah, not real Floyd in some eyes), in the fall of my 8th grade year. The first time I remember hearing Dark Side was at a friend's place in the 8th grade. His parents were gone for the weekend (pretty trusting considering we were 13) and we raided the liquor cabinet and got drunk off of some awful tasting stuff that had probably not been touched in years. Creme de Menthe and amaretto definitely aren't good straight but I think we were too clueless to attempt to mix them, but it did the job. We just raised hell in by buddy's house getting drunk for the first time listening to a strange mix of Floyd (Dark Side in its entirety, of course), Black Sabbath, Metallica, Anthrax, Zeppelin, and AC/DC (and probably a slew of other random stuff I can't recall), playing air guitar, talking about girls, baseball cards, etc. I'm still a huge Floyd fan to this day.

I'm still waiting for my friends to catch up to me in music taste (just kidding), so I haven't had the opportunity to enjoy the album in its entirety with anyone else yet. Excluding my girlfriend, that is, but neither of us were listening very closely to the music

I watched Dark Side of Oz like 20 times. Now everytime I see or hear either, that's all I can think about. I almost ruined Pink Floyd for myself.
I did happen to ruin it for all my friends and my gf tho.
