Taking Back Sunday
Frigging so gooooood live, their music is original and the lyrics are rad. What are your thoughts on this band?

The lyrics in that song are great but weak in commparision to others on the record. I really recommend "Greatest Romances of the 20th century" or "Cute Without The E cut from the team" or "Bike Scene" or "Head Club", "Blue Channel", "Ghost Man On third" .... ect ect
Buy the Album, it is great music for sure.

i love TBS, but the problem is their core lineup who were so great on their last album (Tell All Your Friends) are pretty split right now and i'm not sure how good they'll be without them.
meanwhile the band that formed out of the members that left and some other people, straylight run, fucking sucks

Only song I've heard by them was Cute Without the E and I think it is a pretty good song. Would be interesting to hear more of there stuff.

I like straylight run even more than i like taking back sunday, and that's saying a lot. I was skeptical about waht the new taking back sunday was going to be like after they split, because i didnt like "bonus mosh pt.2", but that was easily fixed after i heard the new demo (follow the format). Classic taking back sunday, i love it. they need to get over singing about john and shaun and using straylight run lyrics though. . .

the vocals get on my nerves, the music itself isn't anything special imo, they don't sing with the beat (i know it's weird but it still annoys me), and the lyrics are typical songs about breakup with a random gunthreat here and there. overall, not my cup of tea

I like TBS quite a bit, their original lineup was amazing, but now after I have heard their newest demo song, I think I can wait for the new album to come out...unless the rest of the tracks are awesome, in that case I will scream with joy. If you like TBS check out Brand New, not the same, but they are related in a girlfriend way.

I'll catch their show in June, really looking foward to it. It'll be hella clutch tight.
It'll be hard for them to top Tell All Your Friends, but i love both Bonus Moshpit Part 2 and the new demo, so here's hoping.
