Songs from the Chris Isaak Show
Anyone know if these are available anywhere or any format? Seems there isn't a soundtrack out for the show, and I haven't had any luck on file sharing networks. There have been some good covers and amazing duets on the show, and I'd really like to find them.

All of the songs on the show are either his originals or covers of ther artists he's singing with. So versions of those songs exist. As for the duets as they appear on the show, good luck. I've been looking for a while and haven't found them anywhere. Even Kazaa. Maybe I'm just on at the wrong times or something.

How about the show itself? Any hopes of it being released on DVD? Sorry that I am too lazy to google it, but I saw this thread and thought I would ask. I have been interested in checking the show out for a long time but I don't get Showtime (or any cable for that matter). Thanks! (and sorry for the threadjack)

teflonian: I checked out the showtime webpage when I started my search for the songs, and it seemed like the dvd for season 1 was due to be released over a year ago, iirc, so take from that what you will. Kinda hard to believe it won't pop up sometime though, the way things are going on the dvd market.

Maybe they are embroiled in conflicts with music rights as are the makers of other TV shows like Malcolm in the Middle and Six Feet Under (or that is the reason I have heard for the delay of those DVDs anyway)… Though you would think a show with largely only one musician wouldn’t have that problem…
In any case, thank you for the information Pellaz! |
