Best diss songs ever?

Some suggestions

Mobb Deep - Drop a Gem on 'em (Tupac Diss, truly intimidating)

Nas - Ether (pure anger and Nas' partial rebirth as a credible rapper)

Cage - The Illest 4 letter word (Eminem diss, more proof if needed that Cage is medically insane. most inventive use of salad tongs in a song ever?)

Canibus - Who Owns You? (Beanie Siegel diss)

Eminem - Quitter (vicious Everlast diss, although Everlast just about won the battle anyway)

Canibus - Bis vs Rip (Jermaine Willians and Bis start dissing each other on this track, brilliance)

They pretty much just go off on Ja Rule and Murder Inc in general. I dont really care about the "beef" between these artists but this is a pretty good song.

I always thought Fiddy was whack after he dissed Charli Baltimore on a track but said he wanted to do Ashanti... I mean, Charlie Baltimore is HOTT, and Ashanti isnt, PLUS, I heard Charli Baltimore was down with Fat Joe, so dissing her is just another thing helping Fiddy get murdered (like making a diss song to Ghostface Killah didnt QUITE do it...)

The bridge is over- Boogie Down Productions diss on MC Shan.
South Bronx- Boogie Down Productions diss on MC Shan.
Mama Said Knock You Out - LL Cool J diss Kool Moe Dee.
Roxanne Roxanne- UTFO diss on Roxanne Shante. They use "The Lizz" language long before Snoop Dog played it out for shizzle.
No Vaseline- Ice Cube diss on NWA.

Any De-la-Soul diss on Arsenio Hall.

Dissing Fat Joe doesn't mean what it used to on the NYC scene. Crack used to patrol the streets (I used to see him out at the Palladium and out tagging all the time) but now he's too busy making BS love songs to keep things locked down. The whole TATS crew got paid and then fell off, except of course the graffiti writers... cooperate America hasn't figured out how to expliot graffiti so it can water it down and sell it... so the graff-writers are still living in NYC, while Joey Crack moved his fat ass to New Jersey.

And the best diss of all time was my hotel lobby beat down on Madchild from Swollen Members last April in Ottawa... that kid is a bitch. He stepped to me for no reason except that he was drunk and showing off to some bitches he was bringing back to his room after the Juno awards. He started slagging my New York accent and ended up on his ass... I'm not even a fighter but when he knocked my Mets cap off my head I couldn't take his BS anymore and tossed that punk ass biatch.

Eminem's "Can I Bitch," where he disses Canibus and Dre disses Jermaine is an awesome song.
Even though I'm an LB fan, D12's "Girls," a shot at LB, is pretty good.

I think all of Eminem's diss songs are excellent. But, hands down the best battler by a good margin is Canibus. Canibus can rip anyone, anything, anytime and blow your mind with how he does it.

though it's a damn shame that the man can't put out an actual album worth listening to. people need to diversify, 50 minutes of battlerhymes is not worth money. he's on the right path, though, with rip the jacker. got himself an actual producer!

written by Warren Zevon

Grandpa pissed his pants again
He don't give a damn
Brother Billy has both guns drawn
He ain't been right since Vietnam

Sweet home Alabama
Play that dead band's song
Turn those speakers up full blast
Play it all night long

Daddy's doing Sister Sally
Grandma's dying of cancer now
The cattle all have brucellosis
We'll get through somehow

Sweet home Alabama
Play that dead band's song
Turn those speakers up full blast
Play it all night long

I'm going down to the Dew Drop Inn
See if I can drink enough
There ain't much to country living
Sweat, piss, jizz and blood

Sweet home Alabama
Play that dead band's song
Turn those speakers up full blast
Play it all night long

I don't know who did it, but there is a song out there, I'm sure you could find to downoad called "Title of the Song," and it's an absolutey hilarious parody of every boyband song ever done. I'll try to find the name of the group and update, but find it, you won't regret it!
