I heard this song last night and I can't figure out the name of it or who sings it.

All I remember is the refrain that went something like "Everything's gonna be alright, gonna be alright, gonna be alright."

The music was soft and sounded almost like a Counting Crows song. Anyone know this one?

No it's not that song. It's more a folky soft acoustic sound.

Doesn't sound like it's this, but it's worth a try: "The Middle" by Jimmy Eat World? It's not acoustic or folky, but you never know.

Argh, that reminds me of that Shawn Mullins song, which in turn reminds me of my ex-girlfriend, who loved that song.

Any chance of me ever liking that song is destroyed by it conjuring up memories of her. Ugh.

I feel stupid. I found out the song was by the Beta Band. The refrain was "I will be your light, I will be your light." I feel stupid and deaf :lol:
