Need love lost type songs
I need some good love lost (or ingeranl love or love wanted ... its all good) type song recomindations .. A few that I allready have would be like Stephen Speaks - Out of my league , Lenny Kravitz - Again , Any Dashboard Confessional , Lazlo Bane - Superman (I dunno if this REALLY falls under this category or not.. I am not 100% sure what this song is about... at any rate these are some of the type of songs I like so hopefully some people can suggest some other good songs that are sorta like them)

Have you ever loved a woman? Derek & the Dominoes (read: Eric Clapton, Duane Allman, Carl Radle, Jim Gordon and others). The whole album Layla and other assorted love songs is themed about an unrequited love. At the time, Eric Clapton was in love with his best friend's wife; his best friend being George Harrison. The album is an open wound, but it's brilliant; a true classic. If you can listen to Clapton pouring his heart out and not be moved, you're a really cold person.

ben folds five - selfless cold and composed
"it's easy to be easy and free when it doesn't mean anything / you remain selfless, cold and composed" "come on baby, now throw me a right to the chin / don't just stare like you never cared I know you did / but you just smile like a bank teller blankly telling me: 'have a nice life.'" it has a laid back, jazz feel to it. perfectly captures a period of my life. |

I wonder,
Does "Love Stinks" by The J.Geils Band count for this? God knows I sang that a few times
