I'm going with my girlfriend to see 3 Doors Down on 1/25 in Washington DC. I saw them once at a festival back in 99, but I don't think I was playing too much attention except to hear "Kryptonite", and was in Times Square this past New Year's when they were performing but was roughly 94 miles and 50 million people away so I couldn't hear or see.
I was wondering if anyone has seen them in concert since then, and if you have any opinions? Yes, I already have the tickets and will go regardless of replies, but I'm just curious.

I saw them this past summer. You WON'T be disappointed. They always play their asses off & really pay attention to the details of their music. I.E. the songs sound like they're supposed to (something that seems to be lacking with some of the shows I've seen recently).

They came back for 2 encores even though they had an all night trip ahead of them. Before I saw them, I wasn't a huge fan...but I left that place with a lot of respect for those guys. Have Fun!!

I am not a huge 3 Doors Down fan but I went to see them last summer (I got a free ticket). I guess they were ok, but I was drunk.

I saw them a couple of years ago as well in a festival where a lot of bands played throughout the day. They where good. I enjoyed them at least.

Ya I saw them awhile back...they ROCKED!!! One of my favorite bands, there are so many good songs besides kryptonite.

Not a real big fan, but saw them a few months ago (I went to see the others bands on the bill). I think they are a very good live band. I would love ot see them again in a better venue.

Hey man sorry I'm posting this last minute, but it's tonight (1/25) at DAR Constitution Hall, it's on 18th between C + D Streets I think and YES there are still tickets available, good luck with that!

And as for everyone else, it sounds like mostly positive thoughts, thanks for the replies. I can't wait! I'll come back and let you know how it went.

Alright just got back from the concert.
They sounded great live. The only disappoint was playing a lot of old stuff, I wanted to hear more from "Away From The Sun." But it was still awesome!

Never seen them in concert myself, but just the other day my friend mentioned to me that they are AMAZING in concert and for anyone that has the chance- they should definitly go.

Does anyone know how Tantric and Shinedown are live? 3 Doors is coming here on Saturday and I was curious if it'll be a good opening or not.
