MusicKeg
Wasn't quite sure where to put this, or even if this topis exists, but does anyone here have a MusicKeg or similar storage device for their automobile? I was thinking about getting one and wondered if they were all that great. My primary concern is the ease of accesing songs. Since the Keg uses CD changer controls, I would think you would only have direct access to maybe 10-12 folders, then you would have to scroll between the 200+ songs in each folder to find the song you're looking for. Am I wrong? Is there an easier way to find songs? Any light shed would be appreciated.
Oh, and if you don't know what a MusicKeg is, here's the link: Kenwood Music Keg |

I have an Aiwa head unit that can read mp3 cds, and a Nomad. They work just fine for me, and they were both cheaper than a MusicKeg.
It seems like it might be a nice system, but I have to believe there will be something better along soon.

Have you ever tried burning MP3 to a DVD and using it in your Blaupunkt? I have a JVC indash MP3 player, and it won't read DVD, only CD. |

I use the archos 10 gig mp3 unit that plugs into my home stereo, car stereo, shop stereo. It holds a boat load of tunes and it even recharges its own batteries if you plug it in.
i love it. mr b
