I love Meatloaf, so he's not included in this, but: any artist who only performs one or two songs written by Jim Steinman. "Total Eclipse of the Heart" by Bonnie Tyler, "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" by Celine Dion. . . . Jim Steinman is my favorite songwriter ever. Anyone who does one of his songs with any talent performs a good song.

Yeah, that is a catchy song. Not a song really, but I never liked Green Day until the American Idoit album came out. I still don't listen to their other stuff, but I really like that album. |

Oh, man. I saw this thread and I thought about Fall Out Boy.
I don't like Fall Out Boy. But an ex introduced me to Sugar, We're Going Down and it subsequently found a place on my playlist. It's not even a very good song, really; it's just catchy as all hell. Also, I suppose this isn't really the spirit of the thread but I'll listen to Roy Orbison sing I Drove All Night, but I can't stand when Celine Dion does it. Her voice is like nails on the chalkboard of my mind.

A couple leap to mind: Styx's "Too Much Time On My Hand" and now and then "Renegade."
Richard Marx's "Hazard" is another one that I liked, but can't name another song of his that I'd listen to.

I'm with Martian on this one. I really don't like fall out boy, much less emo as a whole, but for some reason, I like "Sugar, We're Going Down." Like he said, it's not even that good a song, and is nearly unintelligible, but I can't keep myself from mumbling along with it when it comes on the radio.

I can't stand Madonna and the majority of her music, but I do like the song "Borderline". For some reason it doesn't have the same feel as the rest of her songs. I can just imagine other artists performing it, and masking the Madonna image from the song.
