how to store your records?
ok as the title says, i am wondering what the best way is for me to store my records?
i have finally gotten my record player goin, after about 2 years of collecting records but not having a record player, and i have stored them a few different way. first i had them in a draw lying down but i herad somewhere that that wasnt good so i then had them standing upright between 2 book stopper type thingsbut i didnt want to damage them so now i have them standing up in a cardboard box but i dont like the angle that some of them are sitting at. so please any suggestions welcome. cheers high_way |

have them standing up on end, they will warp if you lay them down flat. Also, make sure they are standing as straight up as possible as well. I have a good collection of some priceless records and my old man told me this is the best way to store them

thanks guys.... after reading what kwlll said i decided to get some book stoppers. i ended up making them at work out of glass that i got out of 2 old scanners and some old plactic sides off an old computer. they actually work pretty well and i may post some pics when i get a chance.
