Hey guys n gals, I just drove 45 min to the city cuz I was bored( I do that a lot.) While I was there I picked up the new Toby Kieth CD(my first country CD). I like country....my first country song I ever heard was "Don't Take The Girl" by Tim McGraw. I still love that song to this day. ANYWAY, Song #3 American Soldier Song #11 The Taliban Song, and song #12 Weed With Willie are great songs....just wanted to share.

It's cool that you like him and all but I hate Toby Keith. It seems like he used the World Trade Center bombings in order to make him a big star and thats really a horrible thing to do.

Not a huge fan of Toby Kieth. Where country music is concerned I stick with the old stuff.

But that's cool that you're a fan. Not enough country fans post here and it's not good to have only certain types of music represented.

Well considering 90% of his great songs, including the ones that made him a big star, came before 9/11, that isn't a particularly accurate assesment of his career.

I had never heard of toby keith before his Angry American song or whatever.

So...that means he wasn't a star? Are you a country fan, or just that's when you heard his name?
