OK folks, what's your favorite album right now?

I'm not necessarily talking about your all-time favorite album, but more like what you're listening to right now, in your car, in your walkman, old or new, whatever album you think is really cool and can't get out of your head. Whatever you would recommend to anyone who asks!

Although I have all-time favorite albums, my current favorite changes about once every other week. So what have you been listening to??

I've had it on wax for ages but just recently burned a CD and that's all I've been listening to in my car for the past few weeks. Good stuff right there!!

Those are the two getting airplay right now.

I just bought Sigur Ros "Agaetis byrjun." I had never heard their music so I decided to take a risk and buy it. It was a good gamble, I love that album.

G-Unit - Beg For Mercy

Time Out, Dave Brubeck. I love Jazz, and while Im not usually a big fan of Brubeck, this album is pretty good.

Right now the CD that's in my car stereo is Third Eye Blind - Blue. I have their new CD, but I think this one's better.

New blink 182 rocks, some nice fresh stuff

The new Mushroomhead album "XXX". I'll be seeing them on Wednesday, but I've been listening to it when I work out for about the last week or so.

South - With the Tides. South is a band that is just gaining more state-side popularity, but they're huge in England. Check them out, they're just plain awesome

i went to see the Blue Man Group recently and they opened up. they rock! kinda like Cocteau Twins meet Pink Floyd.. dunno to describe.

ive been on a weird music streak lately. I've actually gona back to digging Tribe Called Quest -- The Love Movement at the moment... that will probably be change again tomarrow or the next day, I've been jumping all over the place...

I recently pulled out "Automatic" by The Jesus and Mary Chain and I can't seem to take it out to the player. At home I have been listening to a cocktail of "Hard Candy" by Counting Crows, "Mosquitos" by Mosquitos, "Murmur" by R.E.M., "Back to Back Bacharach" song by Burt Bacharach and "White Ladder" by David Gray.

I just got a listen at the new Hux Flux album Division By Zero, and immediatelly it is exactly what I had hoped for... favorite album right now (and probably for a long time) :thumbsup:

Great CD, I was totally blown away the first time I listened to it, because I sort of picked it up on a whim after hearing some of their other stuff (best buy gift card + nothing I really want = woohoo). Sort of funk/reggae/hiphop/rock.

I can't get enough of Thirteenth Step by A Perfect Circle and Take A Look in the Mirror by Korn. Both of those have dominated my stereo as of late.

I can't wait for the new Incubus album which will probably take over for a good period of time.

Metallica - St. Anger. I truly love this album. The first time I heard it, I couldn't believe I was betrayed by Metallica. How could they put out trash like this. Now I am ashamed at how I reacted. This is one of the best albums in their career - it just takes a while to get into. But once you are hooked, you can't put it down. No one will take my word for this because of the "raw" sound of the album. But believe me, it's worth it :)
