What's your favorite album right now?

OK folks, what's your favorite album right now?

I'm not necessarily talking about your all-time favorite album, but more like what you're listening to right now, in your car, in your walkman, old or new, whatever album you think is really cool and can't get out of your head. Whatever you would recommend to anyone who asks!

Although I have all-time favorite albums, my current favorite changes about once every other week. So what have you been listening to??

mods: point me to a thread if this has been covered before but I searched and think this is a little different from anything i've found...thanks!

Fearless_Hyena 11-30-2003 01:27 AM

Right now mine's Eric B & Rakim -- Paid in Full.

I've had it on wax for ages but just recently burned a CD and that's all I've been listening to in my car for the past few weeks. Good stuff right there!!

I just bought Sigur Ros "Agaetis byrjun." I had never heard their music so I decided to take a risk and buy it. It was a good gamble, I love that album.

Time Out, Dave Brubeck. I love Jazz, and while Im not usually a big fan of Brubeck, this album is pretty good.

present_future 11-30-2003 08:04 PM

Right now the CD that's in my car stereo is Third Eye Blind - Blue. I have their new CD, but I think this one's better.

Evil Milkman 11-30-2003 09:11 PM

It's a toss-up between:

Mae - Destination: Beautiful

or...

Thrice - The Artist in the Ambulance

or...

Engine Down - Under the Pretense of Present Tense

I'm so indecisive! :)

Yes, I like this album, too. Even if some people feel that they're just another one of those pop-punk bands, I think the lead singer's voice is really good and the music behind it is interesting.
