I don't know if this was included in the first post (it's all rexes), but...

They're Poser figures... POSER FIGURES!!! You cannot take a band seriously that just takes a bunch of (scantily-clad) Poser figures and throws them on a CD cover in various poses. I honestly could not believe this was the REAL cover when I first saw it...

Heh, i so agree on that iron maiden cover.

Every Maiden cover was so bad ass, eerie , eddie related dark metal'ish.

Dance of Death's was just... not thier style.

not sure if these fall under "worst" or just plain amusing - both pictures freshly snapped and I have no motivation to get a clearer retake of the Arthur Fiedler LP
0) Irwin the Disco Duck in the Navy

seeing those dress blues brings back memories of those pants with upteen buttons in front (that I almost never wore as an engineer fortunately)
1) Saturday Night Fiedler

edit: one of the best covers in my opinion is the 1969 King Crimson LP in my avatar
