From Autumn to Ashes - and how I can't use searches.
I figured these guys would have been mentioned before... but uh, I can't search at all. I tried over and over and kept getting tons of garbage matches
Anyways - Their new album, The Fiction We Live, came out relatively recently. I've been on it for a long time now, it's really the first hardcore band I've ever heard much of/liked at all. Any opinions? |

New FATA sucks. Their first effort is infinitely better. They seem to be trying to hard to be liked in the new cd. Almost like they are trying to cross breed a sort of hardcore, with some emo (for the junior high and early high school crowd) with that nu metal drivel that is so popular. The first cd was a true hardcore record, and the second leaves them a shadow of their former selves. I bought it the day it came out, listened to it a little, haven't put it back in since.
2.5/5

their singing is really off-putting to me. the screamer guy doesn't have enough bottom-end to sound convincing to me, and the "singer" sounds too whiney. musically, their stuff is decent, but rather repetative.
in the metalcore genre, i'd pick killswitch engage, blood has been shed, poison the well, glassjaw (if they "count") |
