Ludacris - "Chicken-N-Beer"
I just got this CD Saturday (I also got the Outkast double-album, too), and I can't get myself to stop listening to this. I don't know what the single for the CD is (I'm betting it's "Stand Up", but I have no clue), but I'm goin' to name off my personal favorites off the CD:
Blow It Out (my friends either agree with me or think it's stupid, so you decide for youself) Stand Up (good dance song) Hip Hop Quotables (just abunch of solid rhymes linked together well, almost like free-style) Teamwork (the music is so childish-sounding, yet the song's so sexually obscene...he he he, worth a listen) We Got (one hard-ass song) Anybody else have the CD? Any comments? |
Splash Waterfalls is a very good song.

I think the first single is Blow It Out, though the clean version doesn't do it justice.

I just heard "Stand Up" and it was pretty pedestrian. Not nearly as good as some past stuff

how about the "no, it's bad and that has nothing to do with my fan-ness of ludacris" choice? ;)
|
Well, I voted 'No- I'm not a fan of Ludacris'. I can't stand him, nor can I stand many other rappers that exist in the music world. I noticed that the vast majority on this poll has voted the same as I, yet none of them posted why. So I thought I would be the first.
Until we meet again. . . |
I ain't heard it yet but I'll give it a listen. Luda is actually better than a lot a emcees and he's got a nice flow. He's not one of my favorite lyricists though. I'd prolly rather pick up Deepspace5 - The Night We Called It A Day, or Gangstarr - The Owners, Inspectah Deck - The Movement, or Mos Def & Common's new albums that are coming out instead. I'm open minded enough to give him a try though but I've never liked his singles before. Other than maybe good dance tracks they haven't done much for me at all.
