Maybe Adam Duritz or Bob Dylan
I'd love to be able to sing with such emotion and conviction as Bob Dylan. Or Bing Crosby. Bing Crosby always had a cool singing voice.
Brian Johnson of AC/DC :)
How hard could it be to sing like the guy from cake? :)
Asta!! |
Mike Ness, which is funny because I am a girl.
J.C. Fogerty, from CCR. I would just keep belting out "I Put A Spell On You" all fucking day.
Frank Sinatra

Maynard, no question about it, altough I am a girl so that's probably be weird. So in girls I liked Shakira before she sold out to the american market
Peter Steele has an amazingly strong and deep voice which has the power to hold any woman in sexual rapture.
Bowie too, he can do so much with that voice of his. |
Jeff Buckley had the most amazing voice ever....
But I kinda like mine too. |
robert plant, he can do rock, ballad.... just about anything and he has a great tage presence aswell
and jack black. i know he hasnt been around that long, but i love his voice. the song he sings in high fidelity... fucken love it |
I'd love to have Sebastian Bach's range, or even the lead guy from steelheart (or am I the only one who remembers//liked them??)
i'm 80% Dave Matthews at the moment... the quick yodel falsetto he does 'open up my head and let me out' is quite straining...
my only problem is, I haven't got the coordination to sing and play at the same time :( i'd love to be able to sing like:::: Robert Plant, Chris Cornell, Harry Connick Jnr. |
I dont know his name but the singer from Crash Test Dummies.
mark lanegan
I'd have to go with Maynard from Tool.
He can go from soft and mellow to dark and angry very seamlessly. |
Peter Steele (Type O Negative - Black No.1)
Mike Patton (Faith No More - Falling To Peices) James Hetfield (Metallica - Blackened) Jonathan Davis (Korn - Blind) |
chris cornell - high notes and actual singing
maynard - low notes and aggression nate (finch) - screams and poppy style singing |
Lisa Gerrard!
Mike Patton... the legend. Can't believe i read Anthony Keidis before Mike Patton..... Patton taught keidis everything her knows!
I'd want my voice to sound like Brandon Boyd's from Incubus, if I had a choice.
Freddy Mercury
had the most passion and emotion for the music. imo best frontman ever. |
Thom Yorke.
James Hetfield - Metallica

Guy Harvey from Elbow. Definitely.
Cedric (dont know last name) from The Mars Volta...talk about a crazy fuckin' voice, its all over the place.
Definently David Gilmour from the Floyd.
Being female i'd have to say either Janis Joplin, or Fiona Apple. But if i were male, either Jim Morrison, David Gilmour or Julian Casablanca. Tough choice.
Stephen Malkmus of Pavement/Jicks. Nothing too special about it but it works.
Chris Carraba
If I had to choose one, I would say Adam Pascal (the original Roger from the musical RENT.) He's amazing in every recording that I've heard.
Other than that. . .James Taylor, Bob Dylan (more ealier bob than later bob), maybe Art Garfunkel. . . |
Uh...anybody. I can't sing worth shit.
