Yay! My father has a 1977 D35... Incredible guitar. He had a D28, but he was playing at a gig when a rather cheeky woman (he said she was about 250-300lbs) decided to sit on the chair the guitar was resting in. So much for that.

Personally, I play an Ovation 1862 Balladeer.

takamine EG-240 Acousto-Electric
(except mine is in the Gloss Natural Finish.)

Fender Jazz Bass, Mexican Electrics...American Build, Sunburst finish...

And...last (and least ) a Squire Strat...The thing has a real dislike for intonation!! I am in the market for something new...any suggestions?

I love the Takamine...I think they sounds amazing for the money, however, I have had a bit of an issue with moisture and the decals around the soundhole...i.e. they are coming off a bit...

Anyway...It is my favorite right now..

I have an $100 Strat Copy with dual humbuckers, gets the job done.

My main axe is my bass, my deluxe 5-string Fender Jazz.

1. Nameless Ibanez bass, heaviest thing I've ever played, but damn does it look nice!

2. Epiphone Les Paul with a red metal flake finish. Very glam.

3. Busted Epiphone strat-style from grade school, black of course with stickers all over.

4. Yamaha acoustic. Dirt cheap, but it plays like a dream.

I wish I had a hollow body ..... Ibanez would work.

I have a set of plans to hand build one which perhaps I will someday.

Damn, I love rosewood. Someday I'd like to own a Mayes.

Jackson and Ibanex both make decent low end models. Thats what I started on. Fender as well has some decent models in their Squire line. Check ebay and your local pawn shops. There are some pretty smoking deals, just gotta look for em.

I am the proud owner of a 1988 Alvarez-Yairi 12 string, her name is Birq; a 1997 Fender F-65, her name is Francis but we call her Baby; and most recently a 1992 Flinthill mandolin that I'm in love with, her name is Marla.

(Don't you people name your instruments?)

But for now, my main basses is a Godin A4 fretless, and a Warwick Corvette 5'er.

I've played on a cheapo copy of a Music Man Stingray, then got an active Fender Mexi 4 string P-bass deluxe. Right now I own a Fender Mexi 5 string active J-bass, sunburst, and it's a killer!

Oh, I also have a nameless acoustic guitar :-)
