John Coltrane - i love afro blue as well, the whole live at birdland album is amazing, but i like the promise more. Miles Davis - Jeru, or pretty much anything off of the complete birth of the cool or kinda blue. Dave Brubrek - Take Five. greatest jazz pianist ... ever :P |

Sketches of Spain by Miles Davis and Take Five by Dave Brubeck. Of cource, I must not forget Herbie Hancock, Headhunters was the album that got me into the jazz world in the first place
