Good job Tophat! The floor is yours! I will be out of town for a few days, so I won't be checking in as often.
Hey God of Thunder, congrats on the new addition!

Since it's the holiday's and people are out of town, I'm extending the time limit to post a new question to tophat for the end of monday Jan. 5. If nothing is posted by then, I'm extending an invitation to someone new to the forum to post a question.
Once again, congrats to GOT!

Hey tritium, we need a question. By the way, I don't know if this was mentioned but, the reason the Allman Bros album was named "Eat a Peach" was because it was a peach truck that Duane crashed with. (or so the story goes)

The sleepy town of Macon, Georgia has been the launching point for several other national and international acts other than the Allman Brothers.
Can you name the three internationally known black musicians to start out in Macon?

The question is officially a stumper tritium. Please give us the answer(s) and under the guidelines of the music trivia thread, give us an easier question.

BTW, I know the answer to the original question, and the name of the leading actress, but I don't know the name of the song.

I can't believe someone hasn't answered so far...
The evil character in the movie Barbarella was of course Durand Durand The band changed it to Duran Duran. OK, staying with the theme, when guitarist Andy Taylor left the group, he was replaced by Warren Cuccurullo. What group was Warren formerly with?

Interesetingly enough, Duran Duran's first gig was in a club called Barbarella.
Can I buzz in with the answer? You followed my train of thought... or wait ... maybe I followed your's. I might wait considering my questions haven't gone over so well -- could be I'm out in left field with my music knowledge or... I might be missing my marbles ... Strange how one persons can lose them so frequently...

GOT - I know for sure that Warren Cuccurullo played in one or another of Frank Zappa's backing bands.

Hey all, totally new to the thread. Looks like there's a ton of tricky questions in here. I believe the answer to tritium's question is "Love You Live"

cool.
hmmmm...... lets see... You'll have to forgive me if this was already covered. I haven't gone over the whole thread yet. How about: Who did John Paul Jones play bass for at their free concert in Hyde Park, London in 1974?

Hey sherpahigh, welcome to the thread....
I have pretty much followed and monitered the thread along with God of Thunder since I started it, and that question hasn't been asked. I like it, but don't know it!

Thanks, for the welcome. I probably won't be able to get a whole lot of the questions but I love to learn about music stuff I don't know.
Anyway, let me know if I need to give out a hint or as an easier question. I only happen to know the answer because I was reading up on some Zep facts online the other day.
