Okay, here's the next question:
"Another family suburban morning" is the first line of what Police song? |
ah, finally an easy one: Synchronicity II
|
"Synchronicity II" is correct. Your turn, Sion.
|
here's one probably only GoT will know, but I've been dying to throw it out.
What Kiss song is the following quote talking about? "And there's an interesting story behind the demo of "_______." Simmons had befriended a then-unknown band in Los Angeles, Van Halen (then known as Mammoth), and had guitarist Eddie Van Halen and drummer Alex Van Halen play on the song's demo. Simmons was so impressed with Eddie's melodic lead that he made Kiss' guitarist Ace Frehley play it note for note on Kiss' version." |
"Christine Sixteen"

Ya, take a day off and look what happens...sheesh. According to Gene, they were going to release the version of Eddie and Alex playing the song on the box set, but couldn't get the clearances from everyone. Btw, I am leaving on Sunday for week to a place where there is no internet access at all. No phone, no lights, no motorcar...not a single luxury. Have fun everyone, play nice and no KISS questions while I'm gone. |
Next question:
Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis, Jr., Dean Martin, and Joey Bishop were four of the five members of the legendary Rat Pack in its heyday. Name the fifth member. |
The great Peter Lawford, JFK's brother-in-law.
Hmmmm now I need to go watch Ray Liotta play Sinatra in the movie the "Rat Pack" It would have been cool to live like that. |
Peter Lawford is the correct answer.
|
Have a great time GOT, no internet!
Guess I'll have to pull out all those Kiss questions I've been saving! :D |

You made me shoot Mt. Dew out my nose dude.
No actually to summer camp with my troop. It's a week of fishing, cooking, camping and just relaxing. |
Okay, speaking of the Rat Pack, Dean Martin's son Dino was in a band with what other famous actor/actress child?
This is pretty easy, I think. |
Just a guess:
Elijah Blue Allman (Cher and Gregg Allman's son)? Edit: On second though, he's way too young |
Nope the answer is: Desi Arnaz Jr. (Lucy and Desi's kid)
Ok....... Let's go with this: Diana Ross played who in the movie "Lady Sings the Blues"? |
oh shit, I know this, but cannot dredge the name out of my brain. she was one of the original great torch singers from back in the 20s(?).
argh! only 37 and already the memory is failing... |
She played Billy Holiday.
I'm very thankful that I'm only 35 and can still remember stuff. Since I'm leaving today for a week, I'll throw out an easy one as a toss up. Who was the father of Ahmet, Moon Unit and Dweezil? |
the inimitable Frank Zappa.
I've got nothing, so anyone who wants the next question, feel free. |
Here's an interesting one
If you've seen Spider-Man 2, you may remember the woman who sings the Spider-Man theme song on the street. The actress who does that is the mother of ..... who? |
stumper!
ask another KWSN |
That woman is the mother of none other than the great William Hung.
Anyway, new question: It's rumored that at the beginning of one of Tupac's albums you can hear these words: "_____ shot me" Fill in the _______ |
biggie??
|
Quote:
but it is another rap figure. |
snoop?

Also, this page has a pic of Hung and, apparently, his mom sitting in the Blue Jays dugout before a game: http://www.andpop.com/gallery/details.php?image_id=202 Sounds like it's just one of those incorrect factoids that pops up and gets spread around every now and then. |

anyway, it's not snoop. keep guessing. HINT: more of a magnate than an actual artist. |
puffy?
|
Suge?
Suge Knight? |
Perripken has got it!
Yes, it's rumored that you can hear "Suge shot me" at the beginning of one of his albums. Your go, perripken. |
Ok,
Brad Gillis, guitar player for Night Ranger was also playing guitar for someone else when Night Ranger got famous. He chose to stay with Night Ranger. Who was the other act? |
ooooooh good one perripken. I didnt know, so I looked it up. VERY interesting. In retrospect, he should have taken the other gig, instead of returning to Night Ranger.
|
ozzy?
|
it's either ozzy or montrose, i forget which, but i think rune got it.
|
Rune is correct
|
Rune? We need a new question.
|
oh crap. i though i posted it already. woops, my bad.
The Black Sabbath Song "Warning" is a cover by what band? |
Ansley Dunbar's Retaliation.
New question (in case this answer's correct): I don't know if this one's been asked before, but if it has, then it should be easy. On Ozzy's Diary of a Madman album there's a song called S.A.T.O. What does S.A.T.O. stand for? |
It stands for Sharon Arden Thelma Osbourne.
Sharon Arden is Ozzy's wife's maiden name. Thelma was his first wife. Ok, here goes: Where did Kansas get the inspiration for the title of their song "People of the South Wind"? |
Well, I'm close to 24 hours and I won't be around until Monday afternoon so I'm going to give the answer and let someone else ask the next question:
Kansas is actually a Sioux word for "south wind people" or anyone living south of the Sioux territory. That's how the state got the name and hence the inspiration by Steve Walsh to write the song. |
ok, I'll jump in here, to get things going again.
here's an easy one (that I hope hasnt been done before): whats Bob Dylan's real name? |
