Reginald Kenneth Dwight is better known as Sir Elton John.

Assuming that I am correct about Elton, I will propose a new question. Who inducted Elton into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame?

Well.... it's been three days since mml answered correctly. The last person with an answer before that was none other than our own God of Thunder. GOT... I think you should ask another question. Thanks

OK, here it goes.

Cynthia Rhodes, who appeared in "Dirty Dancing" "Flashdance" and the 1984 film "Runaway" with Gene Simmons (It always comes back to KISS with me doesnt it? ), filled in the lead singer spot for what 1980s group after the original one left?

Hey sorry about not getting back on the answer to the question, " Who inducted Elton into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame?". I had to go out of town unexpectedly.
The answer, oddly enough, is Axl Rose.

Once again, my humblest apologies for the tardy response.

As for the Cynthia Rhodes question, I am not sure, but my wife swears she sang for Animotion(spelling?).

Well then, your wife gets to ask the next question then, because she's right.

I told my wife she had to come up with something, and she sent me this. I am pretty sure she did not come up with it on her own, but here it goes.

"This group acquired it's name from the band's high school gym instructor?"

Lynard Skynard.

The teacher's name was Leonard Skinner.

Good question by the way.

Heard this song on the way home from work the other day and thought, ooohhh, that would make a good question.

Foreigner's "Urgent" has probably the greatest saxophone solo of all time. Who played it?

See, good thing you were paying attention.

Yes it was Junior Walker, the leader of The Allstars. They are best known for the hit "Shotgun".

I remember being in high school band at the time. When the sax players I knew heard it, they immediatly tried to imitate and failed...miserably.

Welcome to the thread MrSelfDestuct and we await your question.

Well here it goes again.

You know, I'm almost tapped out of trivia, So I will have to do some digging. Get ready for some stumpers.

This shouldn't be one though.

What gritty-voiced classic rock star came from a family of police officers and once served as one himself?

Nope, but funny.

He went through the police academy in Brooklyn, but spent his nights playing in bars.

Besides singing, he is also known for playing the saxaphone.

You've already stumped the panel. I haven't checked in in a few days, but my guess would have been Robert Fripp and Adrian Belew. Was I right? You still get to ask the next question Tophat!

Robert Fripp produced his first two (maybe 3) albums. Tony Levin Has played Bass and backing vocals on many of his albums, including, at a minimum, his first and latest.

OK, what member of the J Geils Band played with Frank Zappa's band?

(edited for clarity)

Peter Wolf.

OK, I am outta here for a while, and I won't be back until the weekend, so I'll try and make this easy:

How did Duane Allman meet his maker?

Google it for confirmation and see y'all this weekend. Merry Xmas for those who do it, Merry watch the silly Christians hijack a perfectly good pagan holiday for those who don't.

No need to google, Duane died when he wiped out on his motorcycle in Macon GA.

Let's see who can catch this one.

The drummer for Rory Storm & the Hurricanes went on to a band that was a little more famous, who were they?

Nope, their rendition came afterwards.

I figured that would be a popular guess.

Believe it or not, it was Glady Knight & the Pips.

Perripken, I'll let you have the next question and take over. See my thread in the Member's Playground as to why I'll be hit & miss in here for awhile.
