Without Ronnie James Dio the world of music would be without "the sign of the devil". How many people could make a band named Rainbow rock? Well, not that many. He wasn't that great when he was in Black Sabbath, but after all he did replace Ozzy and that is a hard thing to do. His solo stuff was pretty good though.

Yeah.. I got to catch him on the Maiden/Dio/Motorhead tour this past friday. Its amazing that a guy thats 50+ can actually get on stage and still do the things he's doing. I give the guy respect for that.

Ya, I saw that show in Toronto, Exodus. I wasn't looking forward to Dio, but he put on one hell of a show. I am now a fan.

caught him with the Iron Maiden show just a week or two ago... he still belts it out.. and still ugly as all hell.. but... \m/ metal... heh. One of my favorite metal discs to this day is Holy Diver.
