If by "New Model Army" you mean Oliver Cromwell's army, and by "the 80s" you mean the 1680's, then yes!

They were pretty cool band - they later evolved into the Loud Family. They have had an interesting history.
Haven't listened to much of their music - but that's my own fault. |
