good guitar instruction books
 

Hey, I'm a begginer/intermediate level guitar player. I'm looking for some good instructional books, especially on finger styles, blues, jazz, or anything really. anyone have any recommendations on books you really liked?

i just got "guitar for dummies," & it seems to have a lot of useful stuff in it. i haven't really dug in yet, so don't know for sure......

Since you like fingerstyle and jazz, you might like getting into chord-melody. I can't recommend it in any specific book, because I have learned it from various magazine articles. Do a google search on it, it is a really cool and interesting approach to playing.

Don't know of any books. Look at wholenote.com. They have a lot of info on different styles of music so you might be able to find what you're looking for.

I have just started playing guitar, and it seems as though the myriad of tutorials on the web seem to be sufficient for me.
