Name a song or an album that isn't well known that you've enjoyed recently.

I'll nominate Forty Words For Fear. The guy (Madison Bell) is more known for his fiction, but it's actually pretty good. My favorite track is 'What God had up his sleeve'. Best I can describe it is it's kinda like Leonard Cohen. Gravelly voices and poorly lit bars, if you know what I mean.

What relatively unknown songs/artists have you listened to recently?

Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It in People

Great album. Ten musicians got together, started cranking out music like you've never heard.

Blood, Sweat, And Beers by The Pajama Slave Dancers. Great album, along the lines of Dead Milkmen, hard to find, but worth it if you get it.

Portal Theory - Echelon. I don't know if Dream Theater fits under well known or not, but Dream Theater - 6 Degrees of Inner Turbulence and Dream Theater - Scenes From A Memory. Excellent albums.

NOFX / The Decline.

It's an 18 minute punk rock song. I love NOFX.

I'd agree.

Or, I could also go with Christ "Metamorphic Reproduction Miracle". Amazing shit. One for the Boards of Canada fans out there.

Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing is pretty good. Not sure how off the beaten path this is, but is was new to me.
