Hi fellow TFP pals,
I was inpired by one Mikesty in this forum and i decided to share my problem....M
ike couldnt get a video out of his head and just described the video and u guys helped him figure out the song and artist.....

my problem is a bit easier but yet still more difficult.....
easier because i remember some of the song lyrics and difficult because they r not current songs but songs that came out either in the 80's or 90's
they were songs that were referred to as Disco songs or Dance songs since they were songs that u could dance to or play in the discos.....

the first song i believe was called "stand up" or "work it out"
the chorus was something like this
(...stand up, you know you can do it
as long as you believe you can prove it
stand up, work it out, work it out) - male voice

the second song's chorus goes something like this
(...dont stop, dont stop believing devote yourself dont stop believing,
never turn your back on mine,
dont stop, dont stop believing ....)
nb: the main chorus is sang by a female... but the (never turn your back on mine) was a male voice if i remember right

the third song
was about a dj who was taking in requests......and callers would call in and request songs...i remember one stammerer calling in and requesting for the song "we are the world" and the dj would laugh
but the chorus was somethin like this
(...mr dj wont you play my favourite song)
nb: this song i would say is a rap with a chorus...except instead of rapping its a dj taking in request over a beat and a chorus.....

guys u r my last hope.....and really really need to knw the title and author...cos i loved those songs very much....

there is a fourth...but i am still fuzzy on the lyrics......
i remember a female voice singing to the chorus ..which went like this...
(its time to be free so
where, where do we go....)
had an awesome funky beats and drums to it.....i dont know if it was original or a mix
