Opeth/Porcupine Tree Damnation Tour/USA dates
 

some dates have been posted for the US of A and if anyone is going to the Los Angeles show at the House Of Blues.. and would like to hook up with a fellow Opeth and Porcupine Tree fan.. let me know.


the show is on the 30th of July... it will be in support of the mellow side of Opeth.. the damnation disc.. and the wonder that is porcupine tree who's last disc.. In Abstensia.. is just awesome..

Seeing it in 3 days, NYC, Irving Plaza. It's going to KICK ASS.

I saw Opeth w/ Lacuna Coil and Beyond the Embrace back in May in Minneapolis and was floored. One of the top 5 performances I have ever seen.

I can't wait til I see this show. And the day after I get to see Metallica---what a great weekend that will be

yeah.. I saw Opeth with Tapping the Vein and Lacuna Coil.. .. and one other band that I have been trying to forget because they were so god awfull.. allthough sitting through the first two required alot of patience as well because I was there to see OPETH!

Opeth is great... I wish the tour this fall was coming close enough to me, I've missed them too many times to count. I suppose the closest venue to me is the one in LA... but thats still a far drive.... hehe

That's really all there is to say. One of the best concerts I've ever seen. Crystal-clear sound, great stage show, and Porcupine Tree were every bit as good as Opeth. Absolutely outstanding.

Oh, and by the way, about Opeth's set list...

They played all of Damnation, one song whose title was not given and isn't on any of their CD's... pretty much all vocal, To Bid You Farewell from Morningrise, and covered Soldier of Fortune by Deep Purple... they did one other song off one of their other albums, a mellow one, but which one eludes me at the moment.

I have heard it is Benighted from the still life disc... awesome song. I cannnnnnnnnot wait~!

I say Opeth at the Blackest of the Black Tour and they fuckin rocked. They were the only band i was there to see. Lacuna Coil were okay, Behemoth kicked ass, but Opeth stole the show. Rock on all Opeth fans. Finally some intelligent life on the web. W00t!!
