Sing the Sorrow

Recentely I've obtained a copy of AFI's newest album, Sing The Sorrow. I'm wondering if anyone else here likes this album.
And if so, could you suggest another good AFI album or possibly something like it?
There's just something about it that I dig, and I don't know what it is.

I just got it a couple of weeks ago. Not too bad, it's my first cd from AFI so I can't recommend anything else by them.

As far as AFI goes, I found it to be rather disappointing. I found The Art of Drowning and Black Sails in Sunset to be a LOT better. That's just me, though.

Pretty much every AFI cd, except this one, is good.

I hated it, seemed to me like they were attempting to cash in on the pop music wagon.

That didn't sound very poppy to me.
But maybe compared to the rest of their music?
I'll have to check out their older stuff.

Yeah, it is very poppy if you compare it to older stuff, especially if you listen to "Very proud of ya" then listen to the new CD.

Yes, it is definitly a very different sound.

But if your listen to all of thier albums one after another, excluding the first two, they all have a different sound each time.

Art of Drowning vs Sing THe Sarrow vs Black Sails in the Sunset.

all three are very good, each have a diff kind of sound.

i always have, and will love this band.

`Very Proud of Ya` and `Shut your mouth and open your eyes` are still the best tho.

I think Sing the Sorrow is AFI's most addicting stuff. Art of Drowning is a better CD but I listen to StS more, esp. when driving.
