Mash up artist Pilchard....
hey all...anyone familiar w/ a mahsup artist Pilchard ? (there is one music guy on the web w/that name but it's not the one I'm after)
I had a bunch of his mashups but I may have lost the files (some computer tecs may have screwed up a data transfer for me ) so I'm just looking to get that music back. he had a site a while back where I downloaded it from but it's all gone now. all the links I can find for his stuff are dead now. can't find any torrents for his stuff either. he had a great mash w/ Stevie Wonder vocals and Alice in Chains guitars that was awesome (uptight and outa sight) he also had a great Louis Armstrong song called "all the beats inthe world" that was killer. hard to say how many I had... anyway, been looking around the web but no luck so far. if anyone has working links or had some of his music I'd be more than happy to pay for a burned CD. thanks for looking . I haven't lost all hope on my old hard drives, the comp had never crashed. the tecs haven't figured out how to deal with an NT4 sp6 file system

thanks ! he's not published on CD anywhere that I know of.
luckily today I got word that the place I had do the data transfer got it all figured out and saved my data so all my music is intact. what screwed them up was my drives were in a raid so they were dependant on each other and the controller to be read. I had looked everywhere I could think of and downloaded a 300+ song mix mash torrent to get 2-3 songs back...but as I said it's all saved after all.

I've heard of him and have a few of his tracks. I believe you want Bootie - the biggest bootleg mashup party in the world. That should net you a few.

Check out Pilchard Archive, which I found searching through the GYBO forum (requires login).

Hello everyone - I just stumbled across this thread by chance - Basically I am the person behind Pilchard and The Tony Crackburn Orchestra. Pilchard was originally started around 5 years ago by myself and my mate Jim. Pilchard went on the back burner last year and TCO was started up as a new project. Myself and Mrs Crackburn then got an idea to start a podcast called Fruntroom, which is basically a vehicle for our own tunes and comedy. We do a monthly show which you can grab at our website, "fruntoom.tv" - Each show is only about 20 mins long so check it out when you get a moment .If you like it then please subscribe for free and tell all your friends ! We will drop in Pilchard and Tony Crackburn tunes along with a whole load of new stuff that we have been working on. You can also get the Pilchard vs. Tony Crackburn free album download called "Losing Weight and Pub Debates" over at the site. Our entire back catalogue will also be going online soon so I will keep you posted - Anyway, if you have any more questions or need me to send you some MP3's then feel free to drop me an email - Take Care - Tony Crackburn

I'm rather intrigued..is there an easier way to download a bunch of the tracks together rather than right clicking each song though? Would love to get an album of mashups in one go!

well...I usually do alot of right clicking. but then I like searching for stuff, sorta like beach combing. then I delete what I don't much care for later.
