check out Playboy Tre's myspace and listen to his radio thingy. excelent raps, diffenent themes than the usual...different sounds too.

if you dig on it then he's got several mix tapes that stream lower down on the page.

I'm always trying to find rap I like, but the 1st song I heard has all the stuff I hate about rap lyrically

"Niggaz" "lean wit it" "muufuggaz" etc...

the music itself just seemed fairly empty, (if you ignore the lyrics and listen to it)

I'm gonna go back to ronald jenkees

Sorry, I prefer the UK style of rap if I'm going to listen to it at all

j/k man...I don't see much rap represented on the boards here so I thought I'd drop a link and see what happens.

of late I find myself drawn to southern rap. the favor isn't anything like what's out of Cali or NY. quite allot of very funny lyrics imho. I can't get into the use of the N word. I'm a white dude and frankly I don't think it's for me to say (and there's no double meaning intended there)

I like it. it feels real. that's about all I can say.
