Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden
 

Saw the Foo Fighters at Madison Square Garden last night and they were GREAT! My first FF show, and I understand it was pretty similar to others on this tour, but absolutely loved it.

On the other and, the opening act was a guy named Serj Tankian (apparently from System of a Down) and he was really god awful. Not my style of music, for one thing, but between songs he yelled out random cliched anti-establishment crap like "money is evil!"

Apparently it was shown on Fuse as well - did anyone see it?

I was casually watching the Brit awards in the background here tonight and the Foos won two. Dave sent two rather funny videos, including one which said "We really wanted to be there tonight, but we just sold out Madison Square Garden." Nice.

I was lucky enough to see them in my hometown on thursday, and it was the greatest concert I've ever been to. I've always been a big fan of the Foos, so that concert was one hell of a night to remember. :D I'll definitely go to one of their concerts again in the future.

They're going to be in Oregon in July. That might just be worth a drive up.

Foo Fighters put on a hell of a show. Dave's possibly one of the most charismatic musicians I've ever seen live, and that's saying something. I unfortunately didn't get to catch them in Toronto on this tour, but if anyone else has the means to get to one of their shows it's definitely worth it.
