Neil Young - Mirror Ball
It certainly isn't his best album, but I enjoy it for the most part. Being that I am a big Neil Young and Pearl Jam fan, this album was of particular interest to me and didn't really hit me for the first few listens and after a while it grew on me. Its a fun record and lately I've been listening to it a lot and my interest is renewed. Any one have any thoughts on it? Here are my top 5.

It was a duet with this girl I had a crush on. And then she saw me at a party later on and I was really stoned, and she had nothing to do with me after that. Yeah, I guess I've always kind of crooned." - Matt Cameron of Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Wellwater Conspiracy fame on being asked about singing. |

I got it in hope, listened to it a few times, but it never grabbed me by the balls.
I may try it again.

I liked Pearl Jam's "Merkinball" that was packaged with it much better. Especially "Long Road".
As for "Mirror Ball", there were some decent songs (Song X), but nothing really memorable. Want a great, heavy Neil album? Get "Ragged Glory".
