The Tragically Hip told Bill Barilko's story in the song Fifty Mission Cap.

Hey, whoops. I forgot too, apparently.

Right. How about a holiday-themed question?

What famous singer, inextricably linked with the Christmas season in the minds of many, has been dogged posthumously of reports of child abuse ever since his death in 1977?

That's the guy. It's an easy one, I know, but I reckon that'll do to get things moving again.

Your question, my dear.

Well, this one's probably easy, too...

Which Bob Dylan song, titled after an article of clothing, has been speculated (among others) to have been written about Edie Sedgwick.

*extra bit* the song is good for stripping, too

Thanks for the warm welcome. Here's my first question.

What artist was forced to bring a guitar to the witness stand to prove the difference between two songs that he/she had written?

I think it was John Fogerty, when his Ex-CCR mates tried to sue him for The Old Man Down the Road being the same as Run Through the Jungle.

You are 100% correct, and might I add that is one very comprehensive answer. You even got the songs correct.

Actually, a little clarification, Fogarty was sued by his former manager Saul Zaentz. He was also sued because Fogarty wrote a song called Vanz can't dance which was actually about Zaentz and all his corrupt dealings with CCR.
The chorus in the song was "Vanz can't dance but he'll steal your money, watch him or he'll rob you blind" John changed the Z to a V so that Zaentz couldn't prove he was singing about him.

Wow, I thought it was his bandmates. Good to know!

Question time:

This band, originally called Chad Allen and The Reflections, was the first Canadian band to have a number 1 hit in the US. They later had it's members break off to form a new band called Brave Belt, until that band also changed it's name.

What were the final (and well known) names of those 2 bands?

That's the song. I think the album was Rio. But that's not it, unless you consider Simon le Bon to be a girl.

Axl's the biggest sell-out known to man.

Next question's in the punk category. An easy one if you know the scene:
Keith Morris is currently the lead singer for The Circle Jerks, but what other well known punk band did he co-found and sing for before The Circle Jerks.

I dunno. I just happened to be familiar with it.

Which well-known jazz vocalist co-wrote a 1938 hit based on the nursery rhyme, A-Tisket, a-Tasket?
