Sneaky obvious. If I didn't have all their early albums in order, I might have gone with "Love Over Gold"
So, Dire Straits means really good Guitar work to me, which leads to: On What David Bowie Album did Stevie Ray Vaughn provide the Lead Guitar tracks?

hey, yo, what already!
uhhhh, ok...what 50's/early '60s R&B singer started his own record label featuring great (but nearly forgotten) classic soul artists such as Johnny Morrisette, Billy Preston, The Simms Twins and The Valentinos? Extra credit (which, of course, means nothing) if you can tell me the name of the record label.

No one even wants to venture a guess?
I'll give a hint that will probably give it away...he died tragically (and too young) in 1964.

oh, doh! I'm so sorry. I'm not sure why I keep missing this thread's updates.
But yes, Tully, you are correct! And Sam Cooke's record label was SAR Records.

Ok, Bruce Springsteen's nickname is "The Boss" what's origins? Bonus points if you know his previous nickname.

No, I heard his answer to this question on an interview I watching when I was making up the question.
It's about as simply as it sounds.

So Bruce says to Clarence Clemons, "Big man, play it a little more....[whatever]", and Clarence says, "OK, you're the Boss."
Something like that?

No, maybe this is too obscure. So.... according to the interview I saw Bruce said early on his nickname was "Doc." He didn't explain why but went on to say that one of his first paying gigs he was hired my a band call "Earth." He didn't much care for the music they played or the other members, but it paid. He said back in the early days making sure the club owners paid the band wasn't always pleasant nor successful. The band regulated this task to Bruce starting on his first day. He always made sure they got paid and he split the cash up with the other band members. Within a few gigs another band member stated, to him "You're the boss! Hey everyone the new kids the boss!" And it stuck. He said he didn't care much for bosses and preferred Doc.
Give me a few and I'll come up with another Q.

I have been trying for years to erase the existence of the Pointer Sisters from my memory. With some success, even though I saw them live once. That said, I'm thinking the answer to this is "Fire". And my FSM have mercy upon me if that's right.

Drat. Got it right. Obviously I am not drinking enough.
After fronting Iron Maiden for some years, Bruce Dickinson took time off to produce a solo album that was released in 1990. Name it.

Hmm. Hint: There is a cover of the Mott the Hoople Cover of the David Bowie Tune, "All the Young Dudes" on there. Apparently Bruce wants to relate to you.
