White Stripes ends canadian tour with a "One Note Show"
 

Any White Stripes fans here? They just ended their cross Canada tour last night, and have been doing 'Secret shows' wherever they go... It was announced on their message boards yesterday that they would do a "One Note Show" - and that's what they did... check the link:

LOL. Some of the crowd was actually chanting "ONE MORE NOTE, ONE MORE NOTE" for a while. It was quite an entertaining afternoon.

I'm clearly missing something here. I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be getting, but I'm definitely not getting it.

that's cool, i guess. playing the same thing every night has to get sickening ... reminds me of the pianist who gave concerts of silence.

i got to see the WS a few years back and it was great. longer sets are highly recommended.

They did the one note thing in the evening BEFORE the real concert. People would have been really mad if this was their only concert for St. John's, lol.

They've been doing secret shows everywhere on the tour. It was raining, and they were running out of time, and I guess they thought it would be funny to do this. Some people thought it was stupid, but I thought it was hilarious, the DVD they're making is gonna rock.

Gah. I was enjoying this joke until the John Cage 4'33" reminder. Now THAT was a joke. And not a funny ha-ha kind of joke.

That was pretty funny. If you didn't know what you were in store for I can bet you'd be pretty pissed.
