Apparently it's a modern rock classic, according to accuradio. I like them, not sure I'd place this song that high. Ah well. It's decent.

Junkie

I went garage sailing last Saturday and bought a box of mostly 70s-80s punk/new wave. $10 for a couple dozen CDs that I'm working my way through. Right now it's a cover of the Johnny Cash song "Ring of Fire" done by Wall of Voodoo band. I like it. Never heard it before. Never heard anything by WoV before except "Mexican Radio."
This is quite different from my usual mostly classical, jazz, Western Swing listening habits. I like it. Nothing deep or profound, but quirky, clever, fun. And interesting sounds.
