What happened to 'The Hives' ?
Anyone know what 'THE HIVES' are up to these days. They seemed destined to be the next big thing, then suddenly disappeared off the map.
I know they fell out with their record label then signed for one of the major labels around christmas time. That band kicked arse. |
The Hives as much ass as a quadrapalegic, hopefully they broke up.

The Hives had a huge hit with "Hate to Say I Told You So," and after that, they released "Main Offender" as a single... a song which, personally, I thought was a LOT better than HTSITYS. However, that song failed to go anywhere (god only knows why), and the Hives just didn't release any other singles off their album.
That's about it... |

The band did suck, does still suck, and will continue to do much sucking in the future.
Just because Rolling Stone and MTV wanted to try and gain some credibility by saying a rock band was the "next big band" doesn't mean it will happen. |
The real question here, is what happened to most of those new "super hip" bands with "The" in their names?

All of those "The" bands had their 15 minutes expire long ago. Same with the number bands.
