Sounds like persian or even indian pop. It's catchy, but I have absolutely no idea what the lyrics are.

That's why I said Persian first. Again, it's catchy, but it sounds like early Boys 2 Men gulf tour meets every asian boy band I've ever heard. I like that you're trying to give it an amalgam of western pop and eastern instrumentation and influence, God knows that Americans are shielded from culture more often than not, but Syrian/Persian music is some of the most beautiful in the world. I feel like you may have left some of the substance behind and relaced it with bubblegum.

Because they prefer to be called Native-Americans

/Didn't listen to the song yet and just being an ass because Indian in this case most likely represents people from India...

Amen on the American audience observation. Bring in more traditional instrumentation and play them in their original temper and scale. Force Americans to hear the REAL beauty of these instruments.

The song has a lot of potential ... it's very pretty, but it doesn't begin to show off what you could do with those instruments.

A little too lite pop for my taste. The second one in particular sounds very american R&B (until he starts singing, that is!)

I am always interested in cool rhythms, so if you have anything with good drumming, etc, please share!
