Liquid Tension Experiment
Anyone here heard of these albums? I love 'em, for me they're the perfect mellow out album. Having no singer really frees up musicians to experiment more, IMO.

They are awesome
Musical Improv. at its best. In their second CD, Petrucci recorded the guitar lines afterwards, listening to the chords and scales (and some notes) of Rudess, that is totally awesome. |
My favorite song on #2 is Biaxident, Acid Rain is great too. Glad to hear I'm not the only one who enjoys these guys.

LTE kicks ass! Weren't they originally from the previous band called Majesty? Not sure, but maybe worth looking into.

I love 'em. They're 3 guys from Dream Theater, formally Majesty, and features the bass work of Tony Levin, who has to be the luckiest guy around. Who else can say they played for King Crimson, Peter Gabriel, Yes...

They're extremely talented. Glad to see that they have some exposure Paradigm Shift is probably my favorite track. John Petrucci almost always plays it live when he's on tour or with Dream Theater too. |

Haven't seen dream theater (in any of their incarnations) live yet. It seems almost like I have to go to japan or europe to see these guys. Glad to see some others have heard of 'em. :)

i love this band and they should definately do more stuuf, im a big dream theater fan as well, my guitar is signd by john. personaly i think that when the water breaks is one of the best tracks, love epics like that.
