Whats with movies with "school" in their name and people driving old black vans?

I love the vans in both of these movies, but am having a hard time figuring out their exact make and model. If I had a copy of the movies right here in front of me I'd be able to figure it out, but I don't have either of them and don't want to spend 10 bucks on 2 movie rentals just to find out the model of these vans. I can't find very much information about either of them

Does anybody know the year, make, and/or model of either or both of these vans?

The van in School of Rock is a Dodge. Not sure of the year, though.

Yea, just from memory I felt like the one in Old School was also a Dodge. I looked through a bunch of Google images and also looked at Cardomain.com, but nothing really seemed to jump out.

late 70's and yearly 80's full-size vans!

I got a 82 full-size(G20) chevy van and it could be done up to look like one of those!

Gotta love it when people do burnouts in unsuspected vehicles. It's like, Hell Yeah!

vans are cool. They're so shit that they're cool. It's all about post-Cool! That's why i want a Trans-Am with a Screaming Chicken on it.
