97 VW Jetta Power Hookup
 

I've got a 97 Jetta and I recently purchased some subs and amps. I started putting it in and ran into a problem.

There is no way (that I can see) for the power hookup for the amp to run to the battery through the firewall. I can't find a hole or anything.

Anybody know what to do?

Drill one.....or find the biggest harness and make the hole in the rubber bigger!

Yea, that's what I didn't want to do...

But if I have to.

find where the wires in the door for the locks and windows and all that stuff goes... run the wire from the batter along the quarter-panel and down the door crease (on the indside of course) and put it through the rubber grommit thats sealing the wires in the door and the body... :D easiest cleanest most direct route possible

I figured it out. I just ended up drilling through the firewall next to where the fuse cables went through.

I was just seeing if there was an easier way.
