electrical problems on my 89 Jeep Comanche

Yeah, I've been driving an 89 Jeep Comanche for about four to five months now and it just recently started having electrical problems. My blinker was the first to go, whenever I turn on my headlights my left blinker dash light comes on and stays on. The blinker itself will not work on the front or back left or right lights though the emergency blinkers work just fine. Last week my Horn shorted out and it just makes a clicking noise down by the fusebox (fuse is fine for all these things by the way) whenever I hit it. Just yesterday my Radio shorted out and somehow disconnected itself from the battery. This only reset my radio stations and it works whenever the car is running but it's a huge pain in the ass considering that the screen where the radio station is supposed to show doesent work (never has), so I just have to scan. Oh, and a while ago the RPM gague went out on me for a few minutes but worked again after I cleaned off the fuse. I'm thinking that I might need a new fusebox because I checked all the wires and they look just fine. Does this sound about right? I'm kinda new to fixing my vehicle but I bought this one so that I might learn from experience. Any suggestions??

The electrical harness connectors on those are a pain. Look under the hood around the steering column. They aren't well protected and contacts collect moisture and corrode easily. Most people I've known just replace one at a time until a few go out and then replace the entire plug, or hardwire all the connections. I can't say your problema are a harness issue, but it's something to consider for any function that runs through the firewall. Grounds or a few other lines will disable the engine if the right contact loses continuity.

Is yours a stick shift or an auto? I have heard that the clutch master cylinders like to leak, and the fluid goes right into the fuse box. this place would pprobably be your best bet for information regarding the comanche specificaly. And don't feel bad man, the floor just fell out of mine. There is a 20x7 hole under my left foot.
