I don't think this scooter has a carburator. I think this is a fuel injected two stroke, as almost all modern street legal two strokes are.
'Not running' is a pretty vague description of the problem. What makes you think that fuel is the problem? -bear

oh, :-)
I don't think it is an electrical problem. Spark seems healthy and have tried three plugs. Engine just turns over, never "catches". Have tried to limit air from air filter. Compression seems good enough. Last time a repairman got the bike to run he said he only had to clean the carb. This worked for one day. Then the bike would not start the next day. It then sat for eight months and then on a hot day (30c) it started right away and I went around the block three times. Started it more than three times. Two days later I tried to start the bike and it did not start. It has not started so far since that one day. Very frustrating! |
