77 frnt end on a 88 suburban?
Will a 77 front end (entire front clip) fit on an 88? i know the cab still has the body lines in 88 but im not sure if itll match up

Well if you have both vehicle you could always just try swapping parts. Pretty much the easiest way to know what fits what...

yes, i have done this. the 81-91 suburban have the hood hinges built into the cowl, and the 73-80 trucks have the hood hinges bolted onto the fenders.
the core support will go right on, and the fenders will bolt right to the cab. if you are changing the hood, fenders, and core support along with the other goods like grill and head light doors, this is a very simple swap! also, the body lines will match up 100% if you look at the fenders from 73-80 they have a body curve in the front of them going down, and the 81-91 suburban fenders have the same body line in the rear, and change in the front going straight into the side of the head light area. |
