Jeep Comanche

YESSSS, I think I finally found my new vehicle, after almost six months without one. I think I have decided on this 89 Jeep Comanche but I'm unsure of their reliability though I have heard a few things. What do you all think about these trucks?

They're basically Cherokee's. Things break, but then it's fairly easy to fix.

Get the 4.0L inline 6. The 2.5L 4cyl can be a painful toad.

yeah, the 6 cyl is the one I am looking at. Considering that I dont know too much about maintanance from experience but I believe I would be able to figure it out logically do you think that this is a good truck for me?

I too may be getting a Comanche soon. The only big thing I've heard of, and it isnt that big, is something going wrong with the valvecover and the air filter sucking oil. If you do a google search it'll bring up plenty of info. here's the fixfor theproblem with the oil
