Jet Ski,Thinking about buy one,I hope this is the right place.
 

I've been thinking about a jet ski,I was wondering what do I look for when i'm shopping for one,also What's the better brands.What about prices,and would you buy a used jetski ? If not why not.

Are you looking for a PWC (sit down 'seadoo') or a "Jet Ski" (standup, with a hinge)?

I would be very hesitant to buy a used seadoo, I've never owned a jetski.

Look for a well maintained machine (lake scum or salt nowhere to be seen, tarped, etc) and check the impeller. I would look for a 4 stroke PWC with seating capacity for three people unless you already have a boat or have a buddy buying one as well.

Prices, obviously, will depend on the many factors. Look to spend at least 8000 $Can for a new one.

i don't know a whole lot about them but I think Bossnass is right, definitely go with a clean looking machine, tat general signals that the owner was a responsible person and has taken care of his ride
