performance shops in the Des Moines Area?
I've got an '03 Mazda 6, and I'm looking to increase its performance and looks a little. I'd like to start with some larger rims and performance low profile tires and a little body work. Then I'd like to do some sports directed suspension mods, not really lowering, but mods with the intent to increase the car's cornering ability. I'd then like to possibly to a little motor work, maybe even a turbo or something like that.
Does anybody in the Des Moines, IA area know of any place where I might get this sort of work done? I know I'll probably have to go to a couple of different shops to get all the work I need done, but if someone could point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it a bunch. (My google searches have been a quite fruitless.) Thanks!!!!!

JR Motorsports Ltd
(515) 963-8788 801 SW Ordnance Rd Ankeny, IA 50021 http://www.jrmotorsports.com/ JR is focused on Domestics, not imports, and I don't know if they do any import stuff. Give them a call and check what they have Green Monster Motors (515) 265-6966 2725 NE 51st CT Des Moines, IA 50317 This came up when I searched for performance shops in Des Moines, but on further inspection, it appears to be a used car dealership. Stewarts Performance (319) 366-7803 1040 Old Marion Rd NE Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 The only place I can find that mentions Imports at all is in Cedar Rapids, and that's quite a drive. You might be better off finding someone locally who can install stuff that you buy. |
