Just bought a Toyota Celica

Just put a deposit down on my new car. It is a Celica base model 1.8VVTi 140bhp. But IMHO I think it looks the dogs bollocks! I just feel like I have to share it with you all.

Nice looking car, but the steering wheel is on the wrong side.

Hope you got a discount for that

the physical "right" side.....but the actual "wrong" side. That is assuming the perspective of an america or someone else who drives on the left side of the road. Im sure to you ur steering wheels in the right place.

Nice car, steer away from the TRD kit tho, it tends to look cheap and shoddy on the car. Also some slightly bigger rims and a 50mm drop would greatly improve its features.

Just suggestions of course

I've always been a fan of the look of those newer-body style celicas, but haven't had the resources or whatnot to actually get one. Congrats on the car though, if you make any mods to it, post those, I like seeing what people do to their cars.

Very slight differenences. The US Celicas have amber lamps on the side of the front bumper. And the UK version has a number plate on the front bumper!

edit: just noticed another difference - UK spec have clear side indicator lamp on front fender/wheel arch.

It is the 2003MY which is in essence the current 2005MY. I heard they will bring back the Celica as the new Supra .

is the car "brand new" like 0 miles (or 5 or so from test drives) or is it new for you. If it is brand new, make sure u drive it cautiosly for a couple weeks, i dont think beating on a brand new motor is the best idea.....since its not broken in i dont think... Anyone know if they break in the motor (like on a bench test or something) before they sell em? or do u have to give the car time to fully break in?

The car is new to me, but it is just under 2 years old. So someone else has "broken" the engine in!!!
