Airconditioner spews powdered leaves, or snow,
 

The air conditioner in my 97 Integra has started spewing snow or leaves occasionally.
It also makes a wierd noise when I have both the air conditioning on. No wierd noises when only the fan or heater is on.

Does anyone have any clues?

you need to replace your cabin filter and clean out the fan body of foriegn debris.

Is something making a nest in the air duct (under the hood) ? I've had this happen to me.

LOL when I worked in a auto shop I found lots of things that had nests in the heating system or the air cleaner.

Worst vent story ever; close friend of mine is a mechanic, and was working on an eclipse (96 i think). THe owner said the vents smelled funny and wouldnt blow well. He cranked the heat on full, and the blower on full and let it run for 5-6 minutes. He disasembelled the dash, and as he was under the passenger side, the heater fell apart, and dropped 2 dead mice and a pile of maggot right on his face. Needelss to say he was NOT pleased.

yeah we have pulled a few dead rodents from fans before.

I wouldn't be pleased either.... :eek:

i dont think anyone would be....a face full of maggots isnt really soemthing that makes your day.
